Why 4,5 cm mesh?

We tested smaller 2,5 cm mesh and we encountered frustration. We noticed that our animals could not eat their fill. While watching our horses, we decided that 4,5 cm mesh would be more suitable for such large animals. For goats and sheep, which also have a tendency to waste feed, we recommend 2,5 cm mesh nets.

Can I put hay cubes into a hay net for a hay bale?
How to fill such a large number of hay nets as in the case of a large stable with box stalls? Our groom will not be happy to do that, as it is simply impractical!
